Digital Atlas of east Serbian cultural heritage
Digital Atlas of east Serbian cultural heritage is an interactive web platform, which presents 92 the most representative examples of cultural heritage of eastern Serbia.
Digital atlas was formed through a partnership of Institute for Cross border areas and RARIS (Regional Development Agency Eastern Serbia), Native Museum in Knjazevac, National Museum in Zajecar and the cooperation of 22 organizations and institutions, which are concerned with the cultural heritage of eastern Serbia. These organizations and institutions are also proponents of these cultural heritage examples. The list of these organizations and institutions can be viewed here.
The overall objective of this multilingual interactive platform is to show the importance of innovation in the processing and storing of information, the establishment of additional affirmation of the rich cultural heritage of the region and highlighting their tourist importance.
Digital atlas of east Serbian cultural heritage was realized with the funding of the Ministry of trade, tourism and telecommunications (http://mtt.gov.rs).
